DELIVERIES

Delivery time in offices.
The average time is 2-3 business days; We will notify you via email when you can pick up your order.

Delivery and schedule.
Deliveries are made at the offices located at Calle Ciencias 50, Escandón I Secc, Miguel Hidalgo, 11800 Mexico City, CDMX from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Business days
Business days are considered Monday through Friday, with the exception of holidays.

Preparation time
  • Books: 1 to 2 business days
  • Portfolios: 2 to 4 business days
Parcels and delivery times.
We have different packages, which are carefully chosen, so that the books and products are delivered in the best conditions.
The following are the most common packages used in the different states of the Republic -they may vary-.
Main parcels used for Mexico City and Merida.
  • J&T express
  • 99 minutes
The approximate delivery time is 7 days.

Other states of the republic
  • redpack
  • Post office
The approximate delivery time is 7 to 10 days.

For deliveries abroad DHL or FedEx is used . An extra customs tax may be charged outside of La Vaca Independiente. The approximate delivery time is 5 to 10 days.

Delivery times may vary due to parcel delays beyond our control.
An extra charge may be generated if the destination is considered an "extended area", therefore, you will be notified via email of the amount to be paid.

In the event that the shipment is made by another parcel that has not been mentioned above, an email will be sent to you with the approximate delivery time.

I want my order to arrive quickly.
An extra charge will be made if you want your order to arrive faster, therefore, you will have to send an email to (mail) to quote the extra charge, the parcels used are DHL and FedEx the approximate delivery time is 2 to 4 business days.

Once the guide is generated, an email will be sent with the necessary data to follow up on the parcel website.

What happens if there is no one at home to receive the package?
  • Parcels make 2 delivery attempts.
  • If there is no one on the first visit, the parcel will try to contact the recipient to coordinate a second visit.
  • If the delivery is not made, the parcel will leave the items at one of its branches for the recipient to come and pick it up (the time the package will be at the branch will vary due to the parcel)
  • If the time to collect the items expires, it will be returned to the sender and the shipping will have to be paid again.
  • In the event that the recipient does not want to pay, the return can be made, as long as the items are in good condition.

Return policy.
  • If it is for damage .
  • You have 3 business days from the delivery date of your order to request an exchange or return.
  • The shipment will be borne by us only if the destination is in the Mexican Republic.
  • It will have a cost if the shipment was free or the place of delivery is considered an "extended area".
  • The following photographs will be requested:
1. The product damaged.
2. The guide attached to the package where you can see the shipment number, the address of origin and destination.
  • You have 2 days to pack the products.
  • Once prepared, you have to paste the guide and wait for the collection to take place.
  • If the product is not delivered to the parcel, the buyer must cover the shipping cost.
  • Once the products are received at our offices, the new products will be sent or the return process will begin.
  • If not for damage.
  • You have 3 business days from the delivery date of your order to request an exchange or refund.
  • The shipment will be borne by us only if the destination is in the Mexican Republic.
  • It will have a cost if the shipment was free or the place of delivery is considered an "extended area".
  • All products must be in good condition .
  • If we receive 1 or 2 damaged products, only 50% of the cost of the product can be returned, but if there are 3 or more items, the refund cannot be made .
  • You have 2 days to pack the products.
  • Once prepared, you have to paste the guide and wait for the collection to take place.
  • If the product is not delivered to the parcel, the buyer must cover the shipping cost.
  • Once the products are received at our offices, the new products will be sent or the return process will begin.
How do I have to prepare my return package?
It must be packed in a cardboard box that does not exceed the dimensions of the original box, it must be well sealed and packaged, so that it is not malleable. The guide must be stuck to the box with transparent tape so that the data is visible.

*Free shipping should only be considered on purchases over $1500 in books and products, it should not apply to portfolios.
